Hi again everyone! 8'DDDDD I know it's kind of crazy seeing two consecutive journals in a row coming from this account, and I apologize for the spam!! This is a pretty difficult journal to type and I feel like I'm equivocating ((VOCAB WORD YESSSSS)) a lot of what I'm trying to say, so bear with me |DDD And thank you in advance for reading!
Last night, after posting the journal about our 3 year dAnniversary, the three of us (Chingles, Zazi, and I) had a long conversation about our time on dA. I've told some of you this and hinted at it on other occasions in other journals, but Chingles and Zazi are no longer active on dA and don't feel the need to be on it anymore; Chingles is now more interested in photography and film-making, and Zazi is an avid fan of Minecraft! :'DDD So we all talked about the fact that I've consistently been the most active of the three of us on dA for the past two years or so, and we came to the conclusion that it might be a good idea for me to make an account for myself and start uploading things there.
When we created this account together three years ago, we intended to work on a lot of collaborations together and create animations of our three characters. However, as time went on, our interests vastly changed (Chingles gravitated from making wolf adoptables to photography, Zazi went from being obsessed with Angry Birds to being even more obsessed with Minecraft, and I moved from adoptables groups and animation to illustration), but the three of us grew closer together (closer than we have ever been before!! 8'DDD). I've had the best time on this account, but I feel like I am too connected to the person I used to be (and the people that Chingles and Zazi used to be, too!) and I've been restless for change for about a year now. One of the main reasons I've been rather inactive here for the past year is because I've lost the excitement I used to have for being on dA, and I feel like if I had something of my own to build up it would be a lot more enjoyable for me.
So, you might ask, what will happen to this account if we move? Chingles, Zazi, and I still love creating art, and so we've decided that if I was to move accounts, this one would stay the way it is. We already firmly decided that ChinZaPep will remain up for the dA community to see so that they can explore our older artwork, and we might return to it some day in the future and work on collaborations together! 8'DDDD
Right now I'm supposed to be on a minihiatus because of schoolwork, and I should fully return on Friday if things go well (Saturday if not!), but I just want to see what you guys think about this. QvQ I would really appreciate if you guys could comment with your opinion on the subject below and I'll come back and look at them when all of my work is done on Friday!!! 8'DDDDD
Thank you so much for reading, supporting, and understanding. As I said earlier, this is a really difficult journal for me to write because I feel like moving accounts will disappoint you all and hurt Chingles and Zazi's feelings, so I'm just trying to see what everyone thinks of the idea before I make any decisions. ;;v;;

WOAH DANG i didnt even realize that today marks our 3rd year on dA!!!!! thats seriously insane how has time flown by so fast im cryING???!??!?!?!?!?!!? WOW
Since joining dA, we gained 1,033 watchers! THAT IS AN INSANELY HUGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE thank you so much aaaaAAAAAAA!!!!!! <33333333 We've gained 288 more followers in the past year which is just crazy and we really appreciate your support!!!! Thank you so much to everyone who's been encouraging us to keep drawing!!! We love you all so much and it means so much to have such a huge amount of people who admire our artwork!!!!
I'm so sorry this journal is so brief and literally the most awkward thing ever Laughs. i'm p much the only active one on here now tbh (chingles and zazi have moved on in their interests!!) and i've been on a minihiatus for the past week or so because school is absolutely Killing Me but this weekend I plan on being super active and drawing a lot!!!!

Hi everyone!!! 8'DDDD So today was the last day of midterms for us and im so relieved you donT EVEN UNDERSTAND??!!?!!??! they were really hard and we couldn't get on dA because we were all studying!!! QmQ;;; But we're back now yay!! There are some things we need to talk about with you guys though so please read on - this is a pretty important journal in some respects!! Important information for everyone will be underlined and I'll do a TL;DR at the bottom for those of you who don't have enough time to read this ;v;

our page: If you've visited our page lately you can probably see that everything is really messed up!!! This is because dA's code changed so that wide widgets don't work anymore. The three of us have agreed that our page is definitely in need of an update, so for the next few days our page will be under construction while we rebuild it!! QvQ We are also planning on clearing out our galleries and making those look nicer too!
that contest that didnt really happen: Earlier this month I posted a journal about a contest to do art for our page because the art now is really outdated!! However, only one person entered QmQ;;; So maybe one day in the future when we have more points and watchers we can hold another one!! For now we're thinking about doing a chibi raffle and we'll get back to you if we decide to do that!!! 8'DDD
messages: Since we were on hiatus for a week, we have 741 messages and 4 notes (and that doesn't include messages in folders that I organized at the beginning of the year!!) QmQ;; Over the weekend I plan on going through them and answering them but I want to let you all know that I plan on deleting a lot of them nvn;; If there's anything you want us to see that we haven't commented on, etc, comment below to show us!!! 8'DDDDD And thank you for the birthday wishes you guys yr so sweET IM CRYIGN <33333333333333
commissioners: Veemonsito, GlowingSpirit, jennawing, zoom, squidip, coastalcaptyns, LittleOvertures, CloverCoin, and Misty-Mutt, I still owe you art that you paid for!! Some of you paid several months ago (almost half a year ago I think!!!!) and I want to apologize to all of you for the delay. QmQ;;; I feel really badly about keeping you waiting and I appreciate your patience with me! I'm so bad with doing my commissions on time and I plan on getting as many as I can finished this month. ((Twine, I actually have your painting finished but I never uploaded it or showed it to you because I really disliked the outcome!!! QmQ;;; It's been finished for several months and so the style is really different now but I can definitely redo it for you if you would like me to!))
For those of you ordered icons: I haven't done an icon since September and so I'm probably going to be very rusty! QmQ;; I've decided I definitely want to do chibis first and then I'll move onto the icons and digital paintings! Please let me know if you would like to change your commission type or if I should give you a refund (I don't have enough to give everyone a refund but I will definitely save up points to do so if possible asjkghsdjfkgsfd i feel really bad QmQ;;;))

I will definitely finish your trades as soon as possible. At some point tomorrow we are going to lose power and be out of internet so that we can get some system updated at our house or smth??!?!?! The outage should last about 15 minutes (im guessing longer since everything in our house seems to be broken these days) but because the only computer we can draw on literally lasts for about a minute without battery and is about 7 years old, we won't be able to access dA or work on commissions until the technicians are done working! So I'm hoping I'll be able to get a good amount finished before that happens and hopefully we'll get power back asap!!! 8'DDD (im assuming itll be more like an hour just to be on the safe side)

So I'm trying to redo our page right now with a new custom box background I found off of Weebly!! nvn;;; (it's so pretty heLP) The way our page is coded means we need to put artwork onto the actual background image, but I ran into a problem - the art we currently have of our oc's, Chingles, Zazi, and Pepe (this account is shared for those of you who are new), is pretty outdated and too small to fit on the new background! So we need more art - the only problem is I have about $1 in points right now which isn't enough to get anything ;m; So I've decided to hold a tiny week-long contest so that we can get more art for our page!!!
Here are the rules and guidelines:
Draw Chingles, Zazi, and Pepe! (click on their names to see links) Art of the three of them together is preferred but not necessary as long as I can put the three pictures over each other; transparent art is primarily desired, but backgrounds are okay too as long as they can be easily removed.
- no bases / traced art please!
- any form of art is fine except writing (traditional is okay as long as it's scanned / we can easily remove it from the background)
- you can experiment with their colors, moods, etc!!! ;v; cute art of them doing things together would be great aajskgfhjkhgd!!!
- multiple entries are encouraged!!! QvQ you don't have to do them though aaaaa
