'Navigation' Tutorial in HTML4 / CSS

Journal Entry: Thu May 9, 2013, 2:29 PM

Hey guys, Zazi here. I just wanted to give out a little how-to (premium members only) for doing something like our Navigation box on our page.

Here's how:

:bulletred: If you have a custom box background, put the following line of code after it in the CSS box: < a name="[insert name here]" ></ a > (no spaces besides the one between "a" and "href"). If you have no background but just a custom box, put said line of coding at the top of the CSS code.
:bulletorange: Make a new custom box, you can use your skin in it, and paste this code in it: < a href="#[insert same name here]" >[insert same name here]< /a > (no spaces besides the one between "a" and "href").
:bulletyellow: You can make a couple of links for this, it should always work.

This is what you should have now:

:bulletgreen: You should have an "a name" tag in every custom box (except commissions, shoutbox, or webcam).
:bulletblue: You should have a custom box with links that start with a "#" and have the same name you placed in the "a name" tag for every individual custom box.
:bulletpurple: It should work everytime you click on the link.

      * This can also work on the Donate box.

If you need any help with this, you are free to note me.

Hope this helps~ :)
